Lagos, Nigeria, Glemad is set to launch Nabtap, a new social network built to preserve open human conversation and give people more freedom to create, connect, build communities and earn from the value they create.

Nabtap is built on a simple belief: the internet is better when people have the freedom to be heard. It is Glemad's attempt to build the relationship between social platforms and the people who create their value differently with more control, clearer economic opportunity and room for conversation to remain human.

A network for people who create

Nabtap brings publishing, video, live conversation, communities, creator tools, commerce, business participation and monetization into one network. People will be able to publish Nabs, create Feels, share media, go Live, follow developing conversations and build communities around what matters to them.

Creators will have tools to understand their audience, manage their presence, develop commercial opportunities and use eligible earning routes including advertising revenue participation, tips, gifts, subscriptions, Live experiences, creator partnerships, paid opportunities and commerce.

Not every creator wants to build in the same way. Nabtap is being designed so earning does not depend on one business model.

Businesses are part of the network too

Businesses will be able to establish a presence on Nabtap, reach customers, work with creators, advertise, manage teams, operate shops, understand performance and participate in commerce directly inside the network.

The aim is not to make creators depend entirely on advertising or force businesses into a separate ecosystem. It is to let people, creators, organizations and businesses participate in ways that make sense for them.

Identity, trust and choice

Nabtap will introduce Nabtap Verified for eligible people and organizations, alongside Nabtap Premium for additional account and platform capabilities. Verification, Premium, monetization, business tools, commerce and advertising will each be explained publicly as they become available.

People should be able to understand what a verification badge means, how creators earn, what businesses can do, how recommendations work, what rules apply and what happens when those rules are enforced.
