They work closely with Frontier, Stripe’s in-house team of scientific and commercial experts, to identify and invest in permanent carbon removal solutions.
Our Portfolio of Emerging Technologies
We are thrilled to support a diverse portfolio of emerging carbon removal technologies. Stripe Climate collaborates with a multidisciplinary group of scientific experts to evaluate and invest in the most promising solutions. Here are two examples from our broader portfolio:
- Direct Air Capture (DAC): This technology captures CO₂ directly from the atmosphere using specialized chemical processes. It can remove large quantities of carbon and has the potential to play a significant role in addressing climate change.
- Afforestation and Reforestation: Planting trees and restoring forests is one of the most natural and effective ways to remove CO₂ from the atmosphere. We support projects that not only sequester carbon but also enhance biodiversity and create sustainable ecosystems.
